PRESS RELEASE

Janco and the IT Productivity Center have just released its Browser and Operating System Market Share White Paper. The major findings are that in the last 12 months Microsoft's browser market share has eroded by over 9.5%; Firefox maintained its number 2 browser position with an increase of 5.6% in the same period; Google Desktop is gaining market share; and Netscape version 8 is dead. New in this white paper are recommendations on which browsers to use and not use.

A summary of Janco's browser market share data can be found on the Janco's web site and the IT Productivity Center's (ITPC) web site. In addition, the full white paper with Excel spread sheets can be purchased at both sites for $249.

The top five browser market share rankings are:

1 - Microsoft's IE - 63.86%
2 - Firefox - 17.40%
3 - Netscape - 10.21%
4 - Google Desktop - 2.38%
5 - Mozilla - 1.40%

Janco has collected consistent data on browser activity since September 1997. The data is collected from commercial sites that focus on business-to-business activity. The IT productivity Center anticipates that it will issue an update to its market share data at the end of the fourth quarter of this year.

PRESS RELEASE

Dynagram, the innovative leader in imposition technologies, announces the release of DynaStrip 5.0. The addition of Mark Sets and advanced JDF features make imposition faster and easier than ever before.

Mark Sets
DynaStrip now offers the option of creating customized Mark Sets. Mark Sets reuse existing DynaStrip individual marks and can be applied to any projects, therefore creating considerable time gains. Mark Sets may be created and applied when using the Dynamo QuickLayout, for an even simpler way of creating your complete imposition in just a few clicks. Mark Sets can also be added directly on the light table to the entire job, to any selection of sheets or to a specific pagination sequence. They are especially useful to complete the layout when importing JDF Stripping data.

Several Mark Sets may also be applied to a same imposition in layers. Sets may include register marks, collating marks, imported marks, text tags, side guides and all types of linear marks. When Mark Sets are saved on the network, they can be used by any DynaStrip user.
