Now into its fourth year the market has proved to be a great launching pad for designers onto the Sydney scene. Being selected to be part of the market offers stallholders access to industry, media and commercial contacts not to mention the thousands of design savvy shoppers.

Young Blood showcases original design, from fashion to furniture, jewellery, graphic, product, landscape and lighting design and gives visitors the opportunity to meet the makers and talk about their work.

Young Blood: Designers Market is part of the Powerhouse Museum’s commitment to nurturing new and innovative design.

As Ketchum’s youth-culture designer, WIZE Design believes in the importance of youth involvement in society and in the youth vote in particular.

WIZE is releasing a VOTE t-shirt at Ketchum’s Board Bin. The shirt, made and printed in the U.S.A., is available now at the Ketchum board and skate shop.

The VOTE shirt features a print of writer-journalist Hunter S. Thompson.

In addition to his legacy among American letters, Thompson was a proactive Western political figure. He ran a subversive and nearly successful campaign for mayor of Aspen in 1970.

In memory of his death in 2005, WIZE calls on Thompson’s bold actions and words to inspire today’s youth to be enraged by and engage with politics and the democratic process.
