Eurobest 2009 Arrives In Amsterdam

The second Eurobest Festival incorporating the 22nd Eurobest awards, Europe’s largest creative advertising competition, will be taking place in Amsterdam. It is an exceptional opportunity to be immersed in creativity over three action-packed days:  

Top Judges
Seven juries, 7 jury presidents, 66 judges from 20 European countries. All the work will be judged during the Festival in Amsterdam by Europe's leading creatives, media and design experts. Delegates can view all the entries across all categories - TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Direct & Sales Promotion, Media, Design, Integrated and new for this year, Craft - at the interactive kiosks, exhibitions and screenings.

New delegate registration packages: 2-day registration and Student registration
In addition to the 3-day registration, which includes access to the full Festival programme, a 2-day registration package is available offering choice and flexibility by allowing delegates to select which two days out of the three they would like to attend.
As well as the Young Creative registration for those aged 28 or younger, a NEW Student registration is on offer for those in full-time education studying marketing, communications, advertising and design allowing them to benefit from the rich content of the event.

26 Seminars, 8 Workshops, 76 Speakers, 65 companies
Benefit from an outstanding learning programme including a variety of thought-provoking seminars and hands-on workshops exploring the most important issues in Europe. Speakers include cousins Mark Tutssel, Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide and Glenn Tutssel, Executive Creative Director of The Brand Union; Fernanda Romana, Euro RSCG's Global Director of Digital and Experiential and Fernando Rodes Vila, Chief Executive Officer of Havas Group who will present a Havas seminar titled 'What Is New Media After All?'; Nick Bailey, Creative Director of AKQA Amsterdam; Jeff Kling and John Norman, two Executive Creative Directors of Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam; Tracey Yaverbaun, Head of EMEA Sales for Facebook and Chris Barbour, Head of Global Digital Marketing for adidas will introduce 'How to Enhance Your Brand Strategy'; Pierre Woreczek, McDonald's Senior Vice-President and Chief Brand and Strategy Officer for Europe and Elliot Polak, Founder and CEO of Textappeal will present 'McBrand Turnarounds'. Full programme

Three Evening events: Opening Party, Networking After Dark, Awards Ceremony and After Show Party
Once the daily insightful and inspirational programme comes to a close, Eurobest's unique and fun evening networking events commence.

Kicking off at the end of the first day, 25 November, is the Opening Party. Join other delegates at the Beurs van Berlage for drinks, networking and the chance to see a showcase of creativity, new talent and the new democracy of filmmaking with the comedian, writer, actor and director Adam Buxton who will introduce a special session of BUG, an awe-inspiring and innovative music video showcase.

After the close of the second day, 26 November, delegates have the unique opportunity to participate in Networking After Dark. Visit Amsterdam's top centrally located agencies for an evening of fun, drinks and socialising. From 6pm, 180 Amsterdam, Nothing, Sid Lee and de-construct will welcome delegates to their offices and afterwards, from 8pm, 15 companies host a party under one roof at Bureau Pindakaas.

At the end of the last day of the Festival, 27 November, find out who this year's winners are. Honour and celebrate the best creative work at the Eurobest awards ceremony and after party in the historic Beurs van Berlage.
