CONFERENCE

SAN FRANCISCO, May -- Michela O'Connor Abrams, President and Publisher of Dwell, has announced plans for the second annual Dwell on Design Conference and Exhibition scheduled to take place at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco the weekend of September 14-16, 2007.

Highly acclaimed journalist John Hockenberry will moderate this year's one-and-a-half-day conference which kicks off a three-day weekend dedicated to exploring and celebrating what it means to build community in a modern world.

"We are delighted to have John Hockenberry join us for a weekend that we are designing to be rigorous, celebratory, in-depth, and undoubtedly a bit irreverent," says O'Connor Abrams. "His singular combination of spirit, intellect and genuine curiosity is an ideal catalyst for thoughtful, lively and meaningful conversation."

CONFERENCE
Bringing together product designers, innovators in green building practices, entrepreneurs in energy efficiency, artists, photographers, web designers, parents, students, and neighbors -- and led by moderator John Hockenberry -- this year's Dwell on Design: San Francisco Conference will unleash the ingenuity and commitment of people who are building community on a number of different fronts, each with an emphasis on strong design, sustainability and smart growth.

EXHIBITION
The Dwell on Design: San Francisco Exhibition will again offer a one-of-a-kind marketplace showcasing a wide variety of modern products and services, making creative use of indoor and outdoor spaces for an informative, entertaining and valuable experience.
