Xbox has an unlikely ally: KFC. Yes, the fast food chain with the famous recipe of 11 secret herbs and spices.
The fried chicken giant stepped in to defend the Microsoft gaming company when Sony unleashed its DualSense PS5 wireless game controller, which apparently looks remarkably alike Xbox’s.
More specifically, the Twitter account that pointed out the design similarities was KFC Gaming, an official video game-focused channel opened by KFC. Despite being launched in 2018, no one knows the purpose behind the creation of this account.
KFC Gaming likened the new controller to the result of PlayStation copying Xbox’s homework, imagining the latter to remind its rival to “switch it up a little so it doesn’t look like you copied.”
Too late. Sony’s new gadget looks a little close for comfort to disgruntled gamers, who not only think it’s a “knockoff” of the Xbox controller, but also a helmet.
