YouTube is helping to make up for missed graduations due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic by hosting a live ceremony with A-list guests.
The ‘Dear Class of 2020’ livestream, planned to air on 6 June, will be headlined by former first couple Barack and Michelle Obama, internationally-renowned Kpop group BTS, Lady Gaga, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, former US defense secretary Robert Gates, former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, and activist Malala Yousafzai.
The celebration will also feature special appearances by Alicia Keys, Zendaya, Chloe X Halle, Kerry Washington, Kelly Rowland, as well as YouTubers AsapSCIENCE, the Try Guys, Mr. Kate, Jackie Aina and Zane Hijazi, and a “surprise special guest.”
Mark your calendars, as the ceremony will take place on Saturday, 6 June at 12pm PT or 3pm ET.
