Rihanna made heads turn during the 2015 Met Gala when she wore the iconic yellow dress by Chinese designer Guo Pei. Although the 32-year-old looked stunning in the gown, the getup spurred various memes, and has even been dubbed the “omelet dress” by the internet.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood to promote her latest skincare line Fenty Skin, Rihanna revealed that she felt like a “clown” wearing the vibrant dress.
The Work singer emphasized that she was afraid of failing the “choreography of getting in the car and getting out” that she had to drive around the venue three times before making up her mind to attend the glamorous event.
“I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m a clown. People are going to laugh at me,’” she said.
Nevertheless, the entrepreneur concluded that she doesn’t regret wearing it.

The bad news is that from now on EVERY time I see a lush #omelette I will think of #Rihanna's dress at #MetGala2015! pic.twitter.com/FPoCJxbKhM
