Rock band Smash Mouth performed to a packed crowd during the 80th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally amid the threatening coronavirus pandemic in the US.
In the videos posted by KOTA-TV reporter Connor Matteson, fans were seen sans face masks and huddled together with barely any practice of social distancing in the crowd.
One of the videos recorded the frontman Steve Harwell saying, “Now we’re all here together tonight, and we’re being human once again. F**k that COVID s**t!”
According to the organizer Buffalo Chip’s health and safety guidelines, it was mandatory for the attendees to wear face masks before entering the venue, but the videos clearly showed differently.
