IKEA’s Latest Guide Is This Bizarre Ad That Flat-Packs Products As Yoga Poses

Now more than ever, people are seeking relaxation in the most unexpected things. Take, for example, BMW’s ultra soothing car wash video to stand in for all the spa sessions you’ve been missing due to social distancing concerns.
IKEA, whose furniture setups have been the source of countless frustrations, is going down a similar route. The homeware giant has reassembled its products as yoga poses to help “harness health and wellness for mind, body and home.”
The amusing spot, created by Melbourne-based ad agency CHE Proximity for IKEA Australia, teaches you 15 new poses to help you channel your inner table, martini glass, and even barbecue tongs.
If some of these stances prove to be too challenging, you can simply master what IKEA considers to be the “most important”—and also our favorite—position of them all: the GRACIÖS Rug. This simple move involves lying on your back with relaxed limbs.
