The Joe Biden campaign has gone virtual in more ways than one, including the setting up of an entire island through the hit simulation game Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Players finally get to visit the Biden HQ island—and even have their photos taken with the presidential hopeful himself—by entering the code for the island’s offline save file.

Right off the bat, you can tell that a lot of work has been done here. This includes sourcing the right furniture from other players, building a polling station, as well as creating sweeping views of American homes and the White House.

Of course, there are a number of Joe Biden-themed Easter eggs strewn in too. Speak to Biden’s avatar, and he’ll respond with his catchphrase, “No malarkey!” You’ll also notice adorable references to his love for ice cream, such as a makeshift ice cream truck and popsicles on his work desk.
Unfortunately, there’s no Kamala Harris avatar to be found here, but you’ll be treated to a glimpse of a day in her busy life with Biden at their Animal Crossing home, labeled the Field Office. Its rooms look lived-in with marketing materials scattered on the floor and chairs all over the place.

The upstairs shows a quieter story; it’s where Biden and Harris’ personal offices are located. Biden’s office includes his collection of sunglasses, a portrait of his younger self, and his dog, whereas Harris’ little sanctuary spotlights her sneaker collection and taste in music.

One of the rooms features digital versions of merchandise you can actually purchase on the Joe Biden campaign store. The hats and sweaters are also available for free download, so you can wear the merch in-game.
There’s a fun area called ‘Joe’s Train Town’ in the basement that’s filled with train models, referencing his preferred mode of transportation and his campaign train tour.

The island isn’t just set up purely for kicks—it’s meant to be educational too. Outside, there’s a polling station with a mailbox and booths, along with an elaborate 12-part banner for the IWillVote.com website and a checklist for Election Day.

Joe Biden campaign yard signs have been installed outside villagers’ houses, with some instructing to text “AC” to 30330, which will entitle players to Biden Island-themed swag. The signs can also be installed in your island for free.
Other highlights consist of an ice cream truck, a rose garden manicured to resemble the American flag, and stunning landscapes.
To visit Biden Island, players will have to lie on a bed and drift into a slumber. They’ll then meet Luna, the gatekeeper of dreams, and will have to enter the Dream Address (DA-7286-5710-7478) to be able to “dream” up the island.
Though the massive campaign appears to be aimed at youths just old enough to vote, it’s likely that Biden Island is also for voters beyond Gen Z. Developers of Animal Crossing: New Horizons reported that the average age group of players is between 20 and 40 years old.
You can have a full tour of the island by watching the livestream below. Also, scroll down for more colorful visuals of the setup.
