KFC is bringing back feelings of nostalgia this holiday season with the re-introduction of some of its famous holiday buckets.
The fast food chain has been known to have released holiday-themed buckets since the 1960s. To continue this tradition, it has gone retro and brought back the iconic 1966 and 1971 US holiday buckets, as well as introduced a new vintage-inspired design for 2020.
The 1966 and 1971 buckets have been replicated in detail, and include Colonel Sanders in a festive Santa Hat and even the retired “North America’s Hospitality Dish” tagline. The new 2020 bucket design, on the other hand, is inspired by the brand’s heritage buckets with a modern touch.
The KFC holiday buckets will be available in all restaurants across the US beginning 24 November. Limited quantities will be available for the 1966 and 1971 commemorative buckets.
