Allaying the stress of working with PDFs, Adobe has rolled out a massive update to its Acrobat browser extension that finally allows users to edit PDFs on the web.
Available for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge users, the plugin now comes with the ability to add comments, markups, notes, drawings, and highlights to PDF documents. They’ll also be able to fill out forms and insert e-signatures into the files.

While the aforementioned features are free to use, Adobe Acrobat has also introduced some premium features exclusive to those with an Acrobat Pro DC subscription.
There’s the much-needed functionality to convert PDFs into other file types like Microsoft Word and Excel formats; access to save a webpage as a PDF—with formatting and links intact; and the ability to rotate, reorder, or delete pages in a PDF document.

The latest version of the Adobe Acrobat browser extension can be installed via the Chrome Web Store and in Microsoft Edge.
