Super Nintendo World In Hollywood Offers Sneak Peek At ‘Mario Kart’ Ride
By Alexa Heah, 03 Jun 2022
Earlier this year, Universal Studios Hollywood revealed it would be adding Super Nintendo World to its theme park in 2023, just two years after the first rendition of the Mario Bros-themed section opened in Japan.
Now, fans have been treated to the first look at the upcoming Mario Kart ride, which will entail putting on special goggles as you get ready to battle Team Bowser on the game’s iconic courses, alongside favorite characters Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach.
In a video sneak peek of the ride, it appears visitors will ride their karts through sections decorated in familiar themes from Mario Kart, such as Bowser’s castle, piranha plants, and chain chomps for the fullest immersive experience.
Ready to throw shells at your opponents as you battle your way to first place? The ride opens early next year.
