Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Are Finally Mixing Together In A Can
By Nicole Rodrigues, 14 Jun 2022
A timeless classic is finally mixing together. This long-awaited collaboration is about to hit supermarket shelves as Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola are now joining forces to launch this famous drink in a can.
Launching first in Mexico later this year, there will also be a sugarless option available. Alcohol volume in the drink will be 5% but can vary depending on the country, and the drink makers have both announced that they would make it clear on the can that this drink is only for legal drinkers.
Brown-Forman, the owner of Jack Daniel’s, has chosen Mexico as its starting point due to the popularity of both drinks. The drink will see American markets in 2023, however.
This is not Coca-Cola’s first alcoholic drink venture as it has previously done cocktails with Topo Chico Hard Seltzer and Simply Spiked Lemonade. However, we can all agree that its mix with Jack Daniel’s has been highly anticipated.
The two drink giants are finally coming together to deliver a classic and yet refreshing experience to lovers of the buzzy cocktail. This comes after a boom in canned cocktails consumption as different companies branch into this avenue of alcohol. Jack Daniel’s has also cited that it has recently felt a resurgence in the consumption of its whiskey and hopes to grow even more this year.
