Instacart Now Lets You Collaborate On Shopping Lists With New Family Plan
By Alexa Heah, 17 Jun 2022
Instacart is reintroducing its subscription service, rebranding what was previously known as Instacart Express into Instacart+, with the added option for households to share their subscription with other members of the household in a new family shopping feature.
At US$9.99 per month, or US$99 annually, the brand says its service not only pays for itself “in just a few orders,” but can also help those too busy to shop for their own groceries save time and money while still allowing for meals together.
From next week, subscribers will be able to try out the new family accounts, which enables members of the same household to share an account for free. Family members can collaborate in picking out what they need for their cart, so no one will ever forget your favorite snack again.
Plus, the new launch will see households receive free deliveries on orders over US$35, 5% credit back on all Pickup orders, and even cheaper service fees, so you get the most bang for your buck.
“With today’s launch, we’re making Instacart+ the most cost-effective way for families to buy groceries and essentials with Instacart, delivered in as fast as 30 minutes,” said Daniel Danker, Head of Product at Instacart.
