Miller Lite Debuts Tiny ‘Iced’ Beers To Cool Drinks Without Watering Them Down

Lukewarm beer is a food abomination that might actually ruin your day. Of course, this could be easily salvaged by chilling your drink a little longer—but after an endless day at work, who has time for that?
The alternative is to drop some ice cubes into your pilsner, which also isn’t ideal because diluted cool beer is only a touch better than lukewarm beer. Luckily, Miller Lite has a solution that keeps your cold one, well, cold, without sacrificing its full flavor. It’s… wait for it… a Beer Cubes Tray.
The idea of Beer Cubes is pretty simple, and looking at a name like that, you’ve probably already guessed how they work. Essentially, you pour Miller Lite into the container and wait until the liquid freezes up, about three to four hours.
Admittedly, it’s not a revolutionary product—want chilled beer? Just top it up with more ice-cold beer! Cafés often adopt the same trick by pouring coffee into ice trays to make lattes. The kicker, if you can even call it one, is that the beer “cubes” aren’t actually cubes; they’re adorable frozen structures shaped like Miller Lite cans, complete with the logo.
Their cylindrical shape makes it easy for the ice to be slipped into a can or bottle of beer. Not a watered-down design, after all, huh?
The tray’s silicone material means you can pop the cubes out easily. Each holder can carry 24 “beers” of ice, so you can crack several cold ones for your beer!
The Beer Cubes Tray is available for a limited time on the Miller Lite website for US$7.99.
