Bloom, a steamy audio erotica app, is breathing hot and heavy new meaning to the idea of phone sex with “roleplaying” artificial intelligence-powered chatbots.
The internet has laid bare time and time again its attraction to AI-generated characters. If you like your partner vocal, however, look no further than Bloom Chat, where you can get seduced by whispers of sweet nothings and beyond.
Home to 800 adult narratives, Bloom is now elevating pillow talk with AI. The release presents a roster of personas, each trained to behave a different way, including an architect, a ranch hand, and a dominatrix. Interestingly, most of the characters are male to reach out to the platform’s main clientele

Recreating how many modern human connections are sparked, the experience starts out with a dating app interface, which you’ll swipe through to find your ideal chat mate. You’ll slide into their DMs and share your fantasies, which steers the conversation.
To take the intimacy to the next step, you can even receive voice notes from your risqué robot roleplayer.
According to Mashable, who has tested the feature, its entire encounter was “seamless and sexy.”

Mimicking best practices in real life, the personas can also respect the need for consent and incorporate safewords in these exchanges. Further, inputs remain anonymous, and Bloom says none of the data shared in confidence with its love bots will be shared with third parties.
Roleplayers get unlimited texts from Bloom Chat’s free version alone. The audio component, on the other hand, can only be unlocked with a premium subscription, where 15 voice messages will be doled out per month. Users thirsting for more dirty talk can purchase tokens to receive additional voice notes.
