PBS Debuts Free Retro Television Channel Digging Up Favorites From 70s To 90s

This free, advertisement-supported streaming service (FAST channel) offers a treasure trove of classic educational shows aimed primarily at a nostalgic adult audience, but sure to entertain curious kids as well. Launched on The Roku Channel, PBS Retro comprises a 24/7 lineup featuring iconic programs from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Viewers can expect to revisit beloved titles like Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Reading Rainbow, Kratts’ Creatures, Zoboomafoo, and Thomas & Friends.

Its logo, interestingly, harks back to the classic blue, orange, and green branding dreamed up by Ernie Smith of Lubalin, Smith, Carnase, Inc that was in use from 1971 to 1984.
